The Challenges of Leadership : 9-month Program

The Challenges of Leadership programme is Cru’s flagship offering. The programme is a 9-month programme for growth-oriented leaders, learning and working together in a small group setting of 12 people.

The programme draws on robust, evidenced theory and practice from the fields of leadership; adult development; coaching and mentoring; and adult learning. The programme aims to develop your capacity to:

  • Exercise leadership
  • Deal with complexity and uncertainty
  • Be skilled at developing your on-going leadership learning and growth
  • Create personally meaningful learning that you can link to a live leadership project

The programme includes:

  • 2 x 3-day residential in late March and late September 2019 at St John’s College, University of Oxford, learning and practising the Adapt, Grow, Achieve model with other leaders in a stretching, safe and confidential space
  • A full Immunity to Change 8-session coaching cycle with either Neill or Trevor as your coach, focusing on over-turning behaviours that are limiting your ability to be the leader you want, and need, to be
  • 4 leadership mentoring sessions to support you as you apply your learning to your at-work leadership project
  • Monthly “learning in action” webinars in groups of 4

Dates

The programme runs from late March to December 2019. Group size is a maximum of 12 participants.
